Please do not worry. Every change in Softminal Cache can be undone. Try these steps in order.
- Undo. Click Undo in the top bar to go back to the settings before your last change.
- Purge. Clear the cache, then load the page again in a private window.
- Safe Mode. Turn it on from the gear menu. If the problem goes away, an optimisation caused it. Turn options back on one by one to find which one.
- Exclude. If one script or style is the cause, add it to “Don’t delay these scripts” or “Don’t change these styles”.
Common cases

| A slider or pop-up does not work | Add its script to “Don’t delay these scripts” on the JavaScript page, or turn off defer JS. |
| Layout looks different | Turn off CSS minify, or add the stylesheet to “Don’t change these styles”. |
| Logged-in visitors see old content | Turn off “Cache for logged-in users”, or shorten “Keep pages for”. |
| A form says the link expired | Set “Keep pages for” to 10 hours or less. |
| You always see BYPASS | You are logged in. Test in a private window. |
