Lazy loading and image sizes

Find these on Optimize, then Images, in the card Load images when they’re needed.

Lazy-load images

Images further down the page load only when the visitor scrolls near them. The page shows faster and uses less data.

Always load the first images straight away

The first images on a page, like your logo and hero image, should load at once. Choose how many: none, or the first 1 to 5. The default is the first 2.

Lazy-load videos and embeds (iframes)

YouTube videos, maps and other embeds load only when needed.

Add missing image sizes (width and height)

Adds width and height to images that do not have them. This stops the page from jumping as images load.

Skip one image

Add the class no-lazy or skip-lazy, or the attribute data-no-lazy, to an image to keep it out of lazy loading.
